Welcome to the home of South African storyboard artists, animators, illustrators and cartoonists!

We will find you a storyboard artist at short notice, which is usually the case! Most of the artists are happy to work in studio or to take a telephonic brief and mail roughs and finished artwork digitally. The artists work in a range of media - from traditional markers, pen and colour wash to digital.

Andre Schwartz, with a wealth of experience, uses traditional marker pens and is very strong on figurative work, fashion and architecture. Dave Edwards, with clients in Joburg, Cape Town and further afield, has honed his digital skills and is very fast. He specialises in fantasy, superheroes and caricatures but is strong in many other areas. Hennie Blaauw is highly versatile, is excellent on character development, super heroes and aliens. He is an experienced animator which can bring a lot to the party!

Many of these storyboard artists are highly talented cartoonists who have been commissioned by South African publishers, advertising agencies, newspapers, magazines and corporates as well as by numerous clients in America (USA), Canada, England, Ireland, Dubai, Australia and Japan. Comic book artists on the site include Dave Edwards, Ben McAllen, Gary Bottger, Alistair Ackermann, Hennie Blaauw and Nick L’ange

Caricature artists on the site include Dave Edwards, Colin Daniel, Gary Bottger and Dean Foster. They work from photographs and will supply hi res digital caricatures which can be printed out and framed. Many of the caricature artists are happy to travel to an event.
